Want to make a difference? Central Vermont New Directions Coalition (CVNDC) has been at the heart of substance abuse prevention in Washington County, Vermont since 1998.
Central Vermont New Directions Coalition (CVNDC), in Montpelier, VT, seeks a dynamic, collaborative-minded individual to coordinate our prevention education and public health advocacy efforts. Work with CVNDC staff and community partners to raise awareness about decreasing substance use and increasing healthy lifestyles. Projects include connecting with youth leadership groups at local schools and implementing prevention activities in the community around alcohol, tobacco and other drug prevention.
Qualifications: Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, strong written and verbal communication, and a desire to work with youth and community. Knowledge of the Montpelier/Central Vermont community strongly desired. Presentation skills and/or community organizing a plus.
20-30 hrs/week.
