VPIRG has been a watchdog for Vermonters in the State House for over 40 years, calling out and fighting huge biotech companies, Super PACs, fossil fuel interests, and climate change deniers. With members in every single town in the state, we're Vermont's largest grassroots nonprofit dedicated to protecting the public interest.

VPIRG is looking for hardworking, passionate students and recent graduates to work for our summer outreach campaign for bold solutions to the most pressing issues of the day. Employees will work out of our Burlington office Monday-Thursday, biking and camping throughout the most scenic parts of Vermont while engaging Vermonters in critical political discussions. Canvassers will earn $11.75/hr base pay, meet incredible friends, and be a part of a greater movement along the way. There will also be ample opportunities for motivated canvassers to move up into leadership roles taking on more responsibility and receiving higher pay.
