Lead Carpenter Position - Champlain Industries, Inc.
Job Requirements:
Minimum 10 Years experience in the construction industry
Minimum 3 Years experience as a Lead Carpenter / Project Supervisor
Must be able to run a crew of carpenters and helpers efficiently and productively
Ability to read plans, produce accurate layouts, material take-offs, and manage subcontractors
Proficient in most - if not all - aspects of commercial and residential construction
Valid Vermont driver license. Clean driving record
All hand tools. Most portable power tools required to work independently
Excellent craftsmanship, work ethic, communication skills, neat appearance, and most importantly: organization skills
Basic computer skills: email, document management, and spreadsheets.
Very steady year round work. Monday - Friday 7 am - 3:30 pm with optional OT.
Local work - No travel. The vast majority of our work is in downtown Burlington
Job Compensation and Benefits:
Year round work
$49,920-$68,460 per year. Pay commensurate with experience.
