Summary of Role\: As a Customer Quality Engineer (CQE), you will have a unique opportunity to provide leadership and technical support on quality and reliability issues to internal and external customers. In this role, you will collaborate with teams across GlobalFoundries to ensure we have robust quality systems and processes in place that will enable us to deliver on business commitments to our customers. This will include working with cross-functional teams and other GlobalFoundries Fabs to drive strategic initiatives that directly impact customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate for this role enjoys working in a collaborative team environment and will be able to provide the leadership needed to drive quality/ reliability issues and improvement opportunities to closure Essential Responsibilities Include\:

  • Act as the voice and advocate of the customer for product quality
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to address product quality performance and close all quality issues raised for assigned customer accounts
  • Track customer quality performance, analysis of customer returns and maintain customer documentation. Ability to refine and publish customer reports and respond to SCARs is a must.
  • Interact with multiple functional groups such as customers/sales/product engineering/design/reliability on quality issues
  • Lead quality meetings with GF internal teams and with key customers accounts
  • Manage and direct customer queries and questionnaires as needed
  • Collaborate with teams across all GF sites to align quality processes, drive customer satisfaction, and ensure OneGF communication back to our customers
  • Ensure compliance with quality management systems such as PCN and MRB procedures

  • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs
Qualification: Required Qualifications\:
  • Education - Engineering or Technology-related bachelor's degree
  • Experience - 5-10 years of diverse skills (Process Engineering, Technology Development, Reliability, Process Integration, Project management)
  • Experience in semiconductor manufacturing process and quality systems
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Preferred Qualifications\:
  • Strong organizational skills; Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and able to react to shifting priorities to meet business needs.
  • Previous customer support experience
  • Results oriented and focused on quality of work
  • Excellent structured problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently with diverse teams and clients
  • Strong presentation and technical writing skills
