The role would be focused on leading improvements to operations through efficiencies, cost savings, inventory management and standard work documentation. This role requires strong mechanical and technical ability. Technician must be able to rebuild assemblies to the component level, troubleshoot performance, define standard work and inspection criteria. Essential Responsibilities Include\:
- Able to wear all required protective clothing and equipment
- Willing to work with semi-conductor process chemicals
- Ability to perform work to defined specifications
- Perform preventive maintenance on area equipment
- Complete all required reporting and documentation
- Able to lift a minimum of 30 pounds on a periodic basis throughout the shift
- Strong team member, able to lead others and work well with a global team
- Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs
- Education - 2 Year Associates Degree in Engineering Discipline (Mechanical/Electrical)
- Experience - 18+ months of experience relevant/equivalent military experience
- Language Fluency -Fluency in English Language - Written & Verbal
- Travel Requirements\: 0 % of Travel
- Physical Capacity Demands - 12-hour Alternate Work Schedule (Nights or Days)
- Mechanical Experience Required
- Ability to work and collaborate with Technicians and Engineering team members
- Able to lead and support change management
- Experience with creating and implementing standard work
- Coordinate projects to evaluate cost savings
- Ability to troubleshoot assembly performance issues to the component level
- Able to develop Procedures and Assembly Inspection Criteria
- Technical leader to drive Quality improvements and area growth
- Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize activities
- Proficiency with computer systems and software applications such as Microsoft Office
