Summary of Role\: GlobalFoundries seeks an experienced manager to lead the compact modeling and characterization engineers. If selected, you will be responsible for the development of Compact Device Models on advanced CMOS/RF/BCD SOI & Bulk technology nodes. Specific responsibilities will include leading the team to work on test structure design, data collection and analysis, spice model fitting, device models, Model quality, Model hardware correlation, technology benchmarking, and customer support. Essential Responsibilities include\:

  • Provide leadership, strategic vision, and technical guidance to the Compact modeling team
  • Lead the team to deliver best in class quality SPICE models for CMOS/RF/BCD SOI and Bulk technologies
  • Work with TD/Fab Device teams on technology definition, development, targets, and benchmarking
  • Work with PDK/IP Development teams to provide world-class design enablement solutions
  • Support Offering manager and Field Engineering teams
  • Collaborate with EDA companies to provide world-class design enablement solutions
Other Responsibilities\:
  • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.
Qualification: Required Qualifications\:
  • Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics or Related Discipline
  • 8 or More Years Relevant Experience
  • 5 or More Years of People Management role
  • Prior experience in Advanced CMOS/RF device physics, Manufacturing, and IC design
  • Experience with SPICE simulators and CAD tools
  • Understanding of design flows, methodologies, and variation margins
  • Language Fluency - English (Written & Verbal)
Preferred Qualifications\:
  • PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics or Related Discipline
  • 8 or More Years of experience preferred
  • Good relationship-building skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines, commitments and deliver customer requirements
  • Strong leadership skills, aptitude for analytical problem-solving and keen attention to details
