Find your place in technology on #TeamAmex.How will you make an impact in this role?You’ll be working in a fast-paced environment as part of the Web Engineering team whose directive is to develop new products and platforms for American Express customers. You should be familiar with modern software development methodologies and be able to dive deep and rapidly iterate on ideas despite ambiguity.

Contribute to an agile team by driving user story analysis and feature grooming, solutioning, and developing thorough features and test-cases.

Ensure excellent application usability through careful manual testing.

Collaborate with Product team, development team and backend teams to plan, test and release high-quality features in the apps.

Assists in estimation and assessment of feasibility of features.

Follow and help cultivate consistent development standard methodologies.

Function as member of an agile team by contributing to software builds through consistent development practices (tools, common components, and documentation).

Demonstrate increased self-reliance to achieve team goals.

Participate in code reviews and automated testing.

Debug basic software components and identify code defects for remediation.

Enable the deployment, support, and monitoring of software across test, integration, and production environments.

Automate deployments in test or production environments.

Minimum Qualifications

2-5 years of technical experience in a software development organization with a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Science Computer Science, Engineering or other related disciplines.

2 years of strong experience programming in JavaScript and React.

Experience with Micro front-end architecture.

Able to demonstrate core web development fundamentals & knowledge of the DOM.

Experience writing adaptive and responsive UI applications.

Knowledge of HTML5, React, Redux, Angular, and Node.

Experience with automated tested and unit testing (Jest, Enzyme, React Testing Library).

Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) environment and their frameworks

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Experience with Agile software development methodology (SCRUM).

Has exposure to a variety of distributed infrastructure technologies and systems.

Deals well with ambiguous/under defined problems; able to think abstractly.

Ability to adapt to a constantly evolving environment.

Preferred Qualifications

1 years of experience with Angular 12

1 years of experience developing REST API's in Java and/or .NET.

Experience with CI/CD programming is a plus.

QualificationsSalary Range: $85,000.00 to $150,000.00 annually bonus benefitsThe above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition.
