Computer Vision Forensic Scientist, SeniorKey Role:

Work as a key analyst and researcher on a growing team of scientists who investigate and solve challenging multimedia forensic problems. Perform forensic analysis and exploitation by leveraging scientific expertise and media analysis tools to apply advanced concepts to digital media. Research and develop novel te chn iques through algorithm and prototype development to develop novel multimedia analysis te chn iques to enhance capabilities in topic areas, including biometric identification, media geolocation, and environmental analysis. Develop cutting-edge te chn ology, filling multimedia analysis capability gaps that can withstand rigoro us scientific validation. C ond uct research and support c us tom solutions for the client's challenging problems. Analyze scientific publications with a high degree of comprehension, implement concepts from academia into real world us e, analyze current te chn ology, and offer or defend scientific recommendations to address specific client missions. Produce high-quality te chn ical solutions, recommendations, and papers for senior te chn ical personnel with the potential to publish. Work on other projects' key areas as a subject matter expert in core disciplines.

Basic Qualifications:-5+ years of experience with implementing te chn ical prototypes in Python or MATLAB-2+ years of experience with presenting scientific findings to clients and leadership or publishing scientific papers in peer-reviewed journals-Experience with multimedia analysis, signal and imaging processing, algorithm development, machine learning, or computer vision-Experience with research, including developing, designing, and executing research plans-Ability to obtain a security clearance-BA or BS degree in CS, Mathematics, Physics, Digital Forensics, or Engineering

Additional Qualifications:-Experience with imagery and media analysis from a forensic perspective-Experience with analytical image comparison, fa cia l recognition, or fa cia l identification-Experience with integrating commer cia l or open source sof tware tools for c us tom application development-Experience with generating intelligence reports and briefing materials intended for audiences of varying te chn ical levels-Knowledge of photographic concepts and basic image science, including multi-media file specifications, formats, and processing-Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills-Possession of excellent entrepreneurial thi nk ing, innovation, and real-world problem-solving skills-Active TS/SCI clearance preferred-MA or MS degree preferred; PhD degree a pl us
