DevOps Platform Engineer, MidThe Challenge:

As a DevOps platform engineer, you're eager to build, manage, and secure a container platform that meets your clients' needs and takes advantage of cloud capabilities. What if you could grow your te chn ical skills to improve the time it takes to get critical tools developed and into the hands of end users who need them to drive the intelligence mission. We need you to help us develop and manage container management sof tware to solve some of intelligence communities ( IC ) toughest challenges.

On our team as a DevOps platform engineer, you'll help to streamline our sof tware development life cycle from requirements to monitoring in production. You'll build your skills using the latest cloud te chn ologies as you look for ways to improve your clients' environments with current container sof tware to ensure seamless orchestration. Using your te chn ical knowledge, you'll support your clients as they inform strategy and design, while ensuring standards are met throughout the containerization process with Docker and Kubernetes.

You'll work with your team to recommend tools, including Rancher, that will help your clients manage and securely adopt containers. Additionally, you'll build your skills in areas like Containerization and Microservices while supporting the development of critical cloud platforms for Intelligence Community ( IC ) .

You Have:
  • Experience with building, deployment, release automation, or orchestration
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services, Micro sof t Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
  • Experience with supporting cloud applications or infrastructure
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code environments, including activities around the automated server or network configurations, large-scale sof tware deployments, or monitoring and testing, including continuous integration and continuous delivery
  • Experience with Docker, OpenShift, or Kubernetes
  • TS / SCI clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with identifying and implementing automation to improve user experience
  • Experience with scripting in Bash, PowerShell, Python, Groovy, or Ruby
  • Experience with system integration using a variety of protocols, including JSON, REST, and XML
  • Experience with leveraging JSON, YAML, or XML for configuration
  • Experience with the OWASP Sof tware Assurance Maturity Model ( SAMM ) or DevSecOps Maturity Model ( DSOMM )
  • Cloud Certification, including AWS, Certified Solutions Architect Asso cia te Certification, Google Certified Professional - Cloud Architect Certification, or MCSE: Cloud Platform and Infrastructure Certification

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information ; TS / SCI clearance is required.
