Overview IDA is seeking a seasoned Lead Systems Engineer with extensive experience on Windows 10 deployments in a mid to large sized corporate environment. Should be able to demonstrate advance knowledge of Scripting, MDT and MECM with regard to OS builds, task sequencing, and in place upgrades. Experienced with leading a team through various IT projects and support. #ITatIDA Responsibilities In a team environment, the Lead Systems Engineer will lead a team with overall responsibilities for the full life cycle of Windows 10/11. They will maintain and implement technological initiatives in regards Operating Systems. To include: - Classified and unclassified environments - Testing and evaluation of next generation hardware/software - Monitor and resolve performance and technical issues - Monitor for security related vulnerabilities, maintain security compliance and patch management - Manage security baseline in line with DISA STIGs - Manage Windows 10/11 full life cycle across the fleet of PCs - Represent Windows 10/11 during inspections - Automate and standard processes and procedures - Manage application baseline, integration and life cycle across the fleet of PCs - Mentor junior staff - Create and maintain SOPs - VDI experience a plus Qualifications • Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or related field coupled with eight years minimum experience in Information Technology, which includes at least six years in systems administration OR high school diploma with ten years minimum experience in Information Technology, which includes at least six years in systems administration. • Experience leading multiple projects, to include leading cross-functional team(s) in support of large projects. • Experience as a technical leader, mentoring/coaching of team members in hard and soft skills, delegating tasks, tracking and managing team's day to day goals, objectives and deliverables. • Possess advanced, subject matter expertise in design, administration, and support of servers, systems, and software, preferably Microsoft. • Experience with Windows as a Service, Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager, Windows Deployment Server, PXE, Patch Management, application life cycle support, McAfee Enterprise Policy Orchestrator, McAfee endpoint products, HBSS, and scripting languages desired. • Must be organized, self-motivated and able to work with minimal to no supervision. • Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal form and with all levels of employees; possess good interpersonal skills. • Project management experience. • Must be willing to work hours outside of a regular schedule. • Ability to obtain and maintain DOD 8570 IAT II certification. • DoD Secret Clearance preferred. Successful completion of a criminal background check is required. #ITatIDA
