We are in need of a motivated Modeling & Simulation/Developer 4 to support our Mission Technologies Division, which has over 100 facilities worldwide and provides capabilities to support an all-domain force that includes artificial intelligence and machine learning, autonomous systems, critical nuclear operations, LVC systems, cyberspace strategies, and platform modernization.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on M&S programming services using STK, OPNET, Magic Draw, EMANE, and other M&S tools.
  • Identify and coordinate M&S requirements from various subcontractors related to air, ground, and surface networking architectures.
  • Provide solutions to intractable problems for sponsors.
  • Assist the Principle Investigator to use M&S to assess network link connectivity, availability, accessibility, and reliability.
  • Leverage commercial and in-house software tools to perform rigorous modeling and simulation of radiometry, wavefront propagation and sensing, diffraction effects, stray light, and sensor performance for passive electro-optical sensor systems including visible and infrared imagers and spectrometers.
  • Support the development of new remote sensing concepts with modeling and simulation, including the development of technical performance requirements and in the assessment of proposed designs.
  • Work independently and collaborate with senior staff and department management to solve challenging technical problems.
  • This role supports subtask for the SOF Unconventional Warfare capability area.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 4 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience.
  • TS/SCI or TS with SCI eligibility clearance

Preferred Qualifications

  • BS: Computer and Information Science, AA: Computer Studies
  • Supporting the In-port Training Architecture for Tactical Training Group Pacific, Detachment Yokosuka (TTGPDY) as an Lead Operational Planner and system administrator. As an M&S Senior Engineer, prepares and configures the TTGPDY FBL for all FST events.
  • Equipment configured/operated includes: Battle Force Team Trainer Ashore Console (BOPC); Battle force Electronic Warfare Trainer (BEWT); Join Semi-Automated Forces (JSAF); Global Command and Control System - Maritime 4.X Workstation (GCCS-M); Secret Internet Protocol Work Station (SIPR Wk. Sta); Combined Enterprise Regional Information Exchange System (CENTRIXS) work stations; Voice over IP (VOIP) phones; and Crypto Loading on all required cryptographic hardware.
