Overview IDA is seeking a seasoned Systems Engineer (SE) with experience on Windows 10/11 deployments in a mid to large sized corporate environment. Experience with operating systems deployments, Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT), Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) and/or System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM). Should be able to demonstrate knowledge of PowerShell, task sequencing and overall automation with regard to OS builds and administration for Windows 10/11. Responsibilities In a team environment, the Systems Engineer will have overall responsibilities for the full life cycle of Windows 10/11. They will maintain and implement technological initiatives in regards Operating Systems. To include: - Classified and unclassified environments - Testing and evaluation of next generation hardware/software - Monitor and resolve performance and technical issues - Monitor for security related vulnerabilities, maintain security compliance and patch management - Manage security baseline in line with DISA STIGs - Manage Windows 10/11 full life cycle across the fleet of PCs - Represent Windows 10/11 during inspections - Automate and standard processes and procedures - Manage application baseline, integration and life cycle across the fleet of PCs - Mentor junior staff - Create and maintain SOPs - VDI experience a plus Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or related field coupled with six years minimum experience in Information Technology, which includes at least four years in systems administration OR high school diploma with ten years minimum experience in Information Technology, which includes at least four years in systems administration.
- Possess advanced knowledge in designing, administering, and supporting computer systems, and software, preferably the Microsoft suite of enterprise software.
- Experience with application life cycle support, McAfee Enterprise Policy Orchestrator, McAfee endpoint products, and HBSS.
- VDI experience a plus
- CompTIA Sec+ certification is required.
- HBSS Certification is required.
- Must be organized, self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal form and with all levels of employees; possess good interpersonal skills.
- Must be willing to work hours outside of a regular schedule.
- Ability to obtain and maintain appropriate security clearance.
- Ability to obtain and maintain DOD 8570 IAT II certification.
- Successful completion of a criminal background check is required.
