- Apply modern control and optimization techniques to distributed system
- Develop algorithms for distributed sensor and C2 networks operating in dynamic and uncertain environments
- Characterize the open-loop and closed-loop stability of nonlinear systems via analysis and experimentation
- Mechanists modeling of phenomena across diverse domains including, but not limited to, computational systems, networks, and RF systems
- Design and implement state estimators and filters and perform sensor fusion across multiple sensor sources
- Work with internal/external teammates to implement the algorithms in real hardware
- Help develop new tools and technologies for developing and analyzing robust distributed control systems
- Masters in PhD in relevant technical field (Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, etc.) OR a Bachelor's degree with significant applicable experience
- 5+ years of experience working with real systems with a focus on controls or algorithmic development
- Established background working in research environments with an ability to understand customer needs and develop operationally relevant systems
- Experience in several programming languages such as C/C, MATLAB, or Java
- Due to government requirement, only US Citizens will be considered for this role
- Active DoD Top Secret clearance: will accept a US Citizen who is clearable
