Cloud Architect, SeniorKey roles:Support the US Army in developing an automated and intelligent finan cia l management platform. Create a framework for a data pipeline for multiple streaming data sources in an AWS environment. Work with vario us POCs to properly configure and initiate streaming data connections us ing protocols like SFTP and sof tware solutions such as Apache Kafka and StreamSets. Standup, troubleshoot, and maintain the running and connections between several cloud-based data from an end to end pipeline.Basic Qualifications:- Experience with AWS S3, EC2, DynamoDB, or RDS
- Knowledge of sanding up services, including Hadoop, Spark, Apache Kafka, Apache Solr, or SQL DBs in a cloud-based environment
- Knowledge of specific data science services, including Scala, Cloudera, Trifacta, or QlikSense
- Secret clearance
- BA or BS degree
- 5+ years of experience with object-oriented languages, including Java and C#
- Experience with programming languages, including Java, NodeJS, PHP, or Python
- Experience with configuring a rob us t and secure API layer for vario us services
- Experience in indexing with inverted indices on te chn ologies, including NoSQL data stores, such as Accumulo, HBase, Cassandra, or Mongo
- Experience with DoD or Army clients
- Experience with finan cia l management systems
- MS degree in a STEM field, including Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, or CS preferred; PhD degree in a STEM field, including Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, or CS a pl us
