RF/Microwave Circuit Design Engineer, SeniorThe Challenge:

What if you could use your engineering skills to transform the technology supporting our warfighters? As an electrical engineer, you understand the power behind complex systems. That knowledge is key when it comes to supporting projects that seek revolutionary change through developing cutting edge technology for a DoD agency. We're looking for a radio frequency or microwave engineer who can use their skills to help drive advancements in microelectronics research for the DoD.

As an engineer on our team you will serve as a strategic technical consultant for advanced research and development programs in RF/microwave systems, including advanced circuit design and signal processing techniques. You'll get the chance to work with world class scientists and engineers to impact national security investments through the development of state of the art technologies. You'll leverage your technical expertise to provide strategic assessments of new technologies to senior DoD decision makers. You'll be responsible for producing and presenting findings and recommendations to a team of colleagues and clients on the feasibility and potential impact of future research programs. You will assist with the management of current programs and facilitate the transition of program deliverables to DoD stakeholders.

This position is located on client site in Arlington, VA.

You Have:
  • 4+ years of experience with RF systems or microwave circuit design
  • Experience with integrated circuit design at the functional or transistor level
  • Ability to commute to Arlington, VA
  • Secret clearance
  • BA or BS degree in EE or Computer Engineering

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with authoring technical papers, reports or program plans for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience with signal processing methods and techniques, including RF/microwave systems
  • Experience in RF/microwave systems that are not in silicon, including GaN
  • Experience with RF semiconductor devices
  • Experience with phased array systems
  • Experience with industry standard tools for circuit design, including RF/microwave design
  • Experience with DoD research and development projects
  • Experience with technical project or program management
  • Experience in a client-facing work environment
  • Knowledge of fabrication capabilities related to RF/microwave systems
  • Top Secret clearance
  • MA or MS degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering and 2+ years of experience withengineering or Ph.D. in Electrical or Computer Engineering

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
