- Propose, develop, and support world-class customer facing web applications
- Participate in the analysis of system and business requirements to provide hands-on solutions
- Define and deploy best practices in unit and regression testing frameworks
- Responsible for the delivery of discreet products and components, marshalling resources across a matrixed organization
- Identify potential barriers/issues and communicate them with the Product Management and development teams
- Participate in user-centered research through client focus groups, interviews, usage analysis, and rapid prototyping
- Write secure-by-design code to protect the customers/brand
- Oversee the work of and provide guidance to less experienced staff
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience as a software engineer or architect for web applications
- 3+ years of experience developing web applications in a complex, multi-platform distributed environment with Object Oriented languages (Ruby on Rails, Java, etc.)
- Strong record of project execution and completion experience using Scrum and Agile
- Knowledge of AWS (platform of choice)
- React and Node.js experience is a MUST
