Peraton's Civil & Health sector is seeking Release Deployment Lead to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Arlington, VA. The Release Deployment Lead will lead and direct one or more project teams engaged in the design, implementation and modification of IT projects that span across functional organizations. Prepares project execution plan and identifies appropriate technical and business resources needed for the team. Ensures projects are completed on schedule, within budget and meets technical requirements of the assignment. Keeps current on advances in the field of IT. Provides technical and analytical guidance to project team.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Create and maintain the release management plan, manage the CI/CD pipeline process IAW the release management plan.
  • Coordinate with USMS infrastructure team on the deployment activities.
  • Ensure CSB has reviewed and any concerns addressed.
  • Develop rollback criteria and plans for rolling back a deployment.
  • Coordinate with scrum teams to provide technical consulting services to deliver and deploy the system in all environments.
  • Initiate approval workflow for development deliverables in the Mission Management Dashboard.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field and 5 years of relevant experience -or- Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field and 3 years of relevant experience
  • US Citizenship in order to obtain and maintain a position of public trust

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledgeable with SAFe Agile practices and tools
  • Experience deploying and maintaining national security software systems in a 24/7 environment
  • Experience as a software engineer or similar technical role
  • Active adjudicated USMS background investigation or government security clearance
  • Experience coordinating with customers, users and techncial teams for software/systems capability enhancements
  • Experience deploying updates to a production environment
