CGI USA - Best version of mePosition Description: We are seeking a Senior Cloud Technologist who is passionate about solving challenging client problems with emerging technology solutions. As a Senior Cloud Technologist with a focus on Cloud Implementations, you will be joining the International Affairs (IAF) group at CGI to support the mission of U.S. security, economic well-being, and world-wide relations. Working with various clients in the US federal space, IAF supports missions that foster national security, foreign relations and resilient democratic societies. Since 1976, CGI has partnered with the U.S. federal government to support a wide variety of organizations and unique missions building solutions that support clients around the world. Your future duties and responsibilities:• Inform and educate clients on best practices involving cloud modernization strategy and enterprise transformation strategies.• Lead client discussions to communicate technical updates and solution enhancements that will benefit clients and their business through modernization in a cloud landscape.• Drive junior team members and lead agile planning activities, ensuring team members have clear goals and outcomes defined for success.• Act as a servant leader to team members to help overcome roadblocks and challenges.• Participate in technical architecture solution efforts by interfacing with feature and product teams to understand business needs working alongside functional team members.• Participate in team problem solving efforts and offer ideas to solve client issues.Required qualifications to be successful in this role: An interim Secret clearance is required to begin working onsite with our client, and a Secret clearance must be maintained throughout the project duration. Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, US citizenship is required.Basic Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree or master's degree or equivalent relevant experience in Computer Science, Mathematics or STEM related discipline.• 5+ years of experience delivering large digital enterprise software products that address large scale global problems such as scalability, data volume, performance, etc.• 3+ years of experience working with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.• 3+ years of experience in program management or management consulting preferably in a leadership role.• Strong technical and troubleshooting techniques.Preferred Qualifications:• Experience designing, documenting and developing complex software applications including technical architecture artifacts, security documentation, requirements analysis, etc.• Experience designing and developing applications using cloud native technologies.• Experience working in an Agile based environment."CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set level, experience and training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
