Job Description

HII is seeking a Cyber Architect for the F-35 Joint Program Office Cyber Integration Team. The position requires technical, programmatic, and financial scientific, engineering, and technical assistance support to assist in the identification, transition, and integration of emerging technologies being developed across the Department of Defense (DoD) and the Defense Industrial Base (DIB).

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Identify emerging technologies being developed across the DoD's research and development enterprise as well as the DIB that have potential to increase the F-35's cyber capabilities or address cyber gaps.
  • Work across the F-35 enterprise, to include the user community, to develop requirements through official JPO established processes.
  • Seek out research and development activities that address capability gaps, and shortfalls.
  • Aid in the assessment of identified technologies and support their transition to the F-35 for those that meet key performance parameters.
  • Generate of concepts of operations (CONOPS) for capabilities being transitioned to the F-35 and continue through acquisition and integration of the technology.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 8 to 10 years of experience; in some instances we may consider 14 to 16 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Deep familiarly and relevant working knowledge of advanced DOD cyber technology development.
  • Previous experience working with offensive cyber programs.
  • Extensive experience planning and executing technical projects and working knowledge of DoD Contracting and Programming processes and policies.
  • TS/SCI security clearance required.

Physical Requirements

May require working in an office, industrial, shipboard, or laboratory environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances.
