Cybersecurity Analyst - RMF Specialist to work in our

Arlington, VA office.

Job Description: The candidate will be supporting the Integrated Pay & Personnel System - Army (IPPS-A) Program Management Office in Crystal City, VA. The program offices deliver fully integrated personnel and pay services for all Army Components (Active, National Guard, and Reserve) which streamlines Army HR, enhances the efficiency and accuracy of Army personnel, and pay procedures, and supports soldiers and their families. The Cybersecurity Analyst -RMF Specialist will perform the following duties:
  • Plan, implement, upgrade, or monitor security measures for the protection of computer networks and information.
  • May ensure appropriate security controls are in place that will safeguard digital files and vital electronic infrastructure.
  • May respond to computer security breaches and viruses.
  • Monitor DOD and Army sites for new standards, regulations, and policies. Review contract deliverables for compliances.
  • Support risk management framework (RMF) implementation.
  • Assess Information Assurance Vulnerability Alert (IAVA) management plans and processes.
  • Develop and maintain Plans of Actions and Milestones (POAMs) for security related activities.
  • Manage DD2875 submissions and support provisioning activities.

Required Skills:
  • BS majoring in computer science or related field.
  • Secret Clearance.
  • Security+ CE or CISSP.
  • 5 years' experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Plan of Actions and Milestone (POAM) development.
  • Organized, detail oriented.
  • Self-starter.

Desired Skills:
  • 5 years' experience with PeopleSoft Application Security, DISA STIGs, CAC authentication & PKI
  • Strong written and verbal skills.
