Are you ready to learn and grow in a career, while making a difference?You Are:Accenture Federal Services’ Data Scientist Senior Manager help clients transform data into mission assets via statistics and modeling, visualization, AI/ML and other creative methods to promote data-led decisions and story-telling. The Senior Data Scientist is deeply versed in a variety of leading techniques – network analysis, regression, timeseries / forecasting, computer vision, natural language processing / LLMs – and leads teams in the selection and execution of these methods to meet client objectives. The Senior Data Scientist assists in identifying the data and analytics opportunity, executing analysis and delivering useable insights at scale via platform solutions. The Senior Data Scientist must creatively leverage client and AFS capabilities including offerings from ecosystem partners staying current on emerging technologies and methods. The Senior Data Scientist must have strong communication skills to be able to effectively engage clients, teams and industry partners to effectively build relationships and collaboration.The Work:

Lead data science projects responsible for managing junior FTE, coordinating tasking and production for on-time, quality deliverables

Manages communications and relationship with clients to over-deliver and identify growth opportunities

Serves as evangelist for data science, analytics, and AI capabilities to clients and internal AFS teams / stakeholders

Contributes to growth activities including proposals, demo / prototype development, offering development, and points of view

Builds communities across client teams to up-skill junior analysts, foster collaboration and create brand and identity for data scientists

Here Is What You Need:

Bachelors Degree or 10+ years of industry experience

Demonstrated leadership experience within technology-driven federal organizations and/or leading organizations leveraging AI analytic systems (e.g. machine learning, big data analysis), with demonstration of exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills

Hands-on experience with one or more of the following: establishing, building or contributing to complex data science programs

Hands-on experience with one or more of the following: AI/ML processes to include data engineering, data labeling, model development and training, model validation, and model deployment

Proficiency with data science tools and languages such as Python, R, SAS and frameworks such as TensorFlow, HuggingFace, SageMaker, etc

Understanding of pne or more of the following: cloud-native cognitive APIs, open-source models and packages, and commercial tooling

Federal experience with specialization in a specific agency or sector demonstrating knowledge of federal data systems, tooling, and use cases

Bonus Points If:

Masters’ degree or higher in Data Science, Computer Science, IT Systems, or a related technical or quantitative field

Strong communications skills with background executing writing, briefings, presentations and trainings to senior government officials or equivalent

Commitment to delivering tangible outcomes for customers and stakeholders

Excellent people management and relationship development skills
