Responsibilities Supervise an organization of 30+ staff divided across several functional areas. Direct actions of multiple teams covering configuration management, related tools ad ITSM. Interface directly with the customer and other contractors, providing guidance and direction on best practices and solutions. Mentor and help staff with tasking, provide opportunities for growth, and assist employees with career development. Weekly, monthly and quarterly reports per the contract and customer request. Weekly and ad hoc meetings with the customer to review status and support advancement of customer objectives. Provide direction to employees to align activities and initiatives with customer-desired outcomes. Direct activities on initiatives for process improvement and tool modernization. Direct activities surrounding program and project dashboards and reporting. Direct team activities supporting SAFe Agile and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment leading to a DevOps environment.

Requirements Minimum 8 years of management experience Excellent people skills Critical thinking skills Solid written and verbal communication skills Ability to explain complex technical issues in layman's terms Detail-oriented and able to work in a rapidly changing environment Experience working process improvement and the configuration management side of IT Ability to alternate quickly between different issues/meetings/efforts Familiarity with SAFe and CI/CD

Plusses Familiarity with ServiceNow, Jira, Gitlab and Nexus Experience migrating from waterfall to Agile (in particular SAFe)
