Electrical Engineering and Microelectronics Technology ConsultantKey Role:

Support major microelectronics programs in the areas of design, verification, fabrication, packaging, te chn ology node access, integrity, t rus t, and assurance. Provide te chn ical and programmatic advice and support services for a range of advanced weapon system, sensor, and computer processing related te chn ologies and programs. Assist the government with te chn ical assessments, strategic planning, and engineering evaluations. Support the design, development, test, fielding, and sustainment of advanced microelectronics systems and asso cia ted t rus t and assurance programs. Provide te chn ical expertise in the analysis and design of integrated circuit for critical te chn ologies for the DoD. Assist the government with preparing assessments of te chn ical progress toward major engineering milestones for a portfolio of unique and sensitive government programs. Maintain modernization tech roadmaps related to microelectronics, including all DoD activities and applicable program elements that are current and updated at the direction of the respective program directors, coordinate roadmaps with key stakeholders, including DoD leaders, the Services, Agencies, and other key partners, and refine and update Science and Te chn ology ( S & T ) roadmaps based on feedback from stakeholders and changes to te chn ology development investments. This position is a hybrid role with a combination of working at a Booz Allen office or client site and working remotely.

Basic Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience with microelectronics
  • 3+ years of experience with microelectronic systems engineering and te chn ology development programs
  • Experience with integrated circuit design, fabrication, or packaging
  • Experience with integrated circuit verification, security, t rus t, or assurance
  • Experience with bringing up FPGA or ASIC designs to a package or board level
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering

Additional Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Computer Engineering preferred; Doctorate degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Computer Engineering a plus
