We have a need for a motivated Engineer Systems 3 to support our Mission Technologies Division, which has over 100 facilities worldwide and provides capabilities to support an all-domain force that includes artificial intelligence and machine learning, autonomous systems, critical nuclear operations, LVC systems, cyberspace strategies, and platform modernization.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Provide systems engineering and integration expertise in defining and developing a mission, organizational, physical, functional, signal, hardware/software, and operational interfaces.
  • Provide direct integration support to programs in all phases of the acquisition lifecycle through Launch and Initialization and Operations.
  • Provide test and integration assistance with acquisition support to new programs, and updates to existing programs.
  • Assist with high-level and detailed test planning, test architecture, test design, test execution, test and data evaluation, anomaly and deficiency, resolution, and residual risk assessment for operationally realistic and system performance testing.
  • Aid with the requirements for engineering models, simulations, test beds, and special test equipment for all organizations involved with system testing.
  • Provide direct support to programs and corporate entities in the areas of integration reviews, studies related to integration, and failure investigation.
  • Establish verifiable requirements for space systems and ensure the appropriate use of test as a verification and validation technique for programs during the requirements definition phase.
  • Ensure appropriate verification and validation of both interface and transition requirements are planned and executed.
  • Ensure design for testability during the design phase.
  • Ensure the systems are designed with human considerations for all processes.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
  • Clearance: secret security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

BS: Mechanical Engineering experience in designing and developing complex mechanical systems. These systems have covered the full range of the engineering process from concept development to final delivery and implementation. Tasks involve rapid adaptation, testing, troubleshooting, and training of the developed systems.

Physical Requirements

Office, industrial, or shipboard environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances. Lifting and moving materials may be required.
