We accomplish this through charitable investments in education and workforce, veterans and military families, the environment, and racial equity; advocacy; community relations; grassroots efforts and other activities.,As a budget analyst on the newly formed Higher Education Relation teams in Arlington, VA, you will be responsible for processing and tracking our investments to 4-year colleges and universities as well as technical and community colleges throughout the United States and abroad. You will also analyze the impact of Boeing’s giving, including, but not limited to, contributions, engagement in programs, payments, and data analysis and visualization. The ideal candidate is experienced in working in multiple systems and extracting insights from large data sets but is also comfortable supporting and reporting to multiple levels of management and executives. This role is ideal for an individual who is very organized, adaptable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.Position Responsibilities:Processing and tracking investments to multiple higher educational institutions

Creating and managing processes for budget and payment tracking.

Reporting for year-end, initiatives, and benchmarking for internal and external audiences.

Visualizing data for easy interpretation by strategy and location.

Using data, analysis, and lessons learned to making recommendations that will improve processes and strategies.

Master multiple systems and applications, including, but not limited to: SmartSimple, SAP Ariba, and Microsoft Excel

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Experience in running statistical analysis of large datasets, drawing conclusions from analyses, and presenting same

Experience with the Microsoft Excel application using: formulas, VLookups, pivot tables, charts, filters, and linking worksheets

Experience with data analytics and metric development

Experience in Data Management and/or Configuration Management and processing

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Grant making or evaluation of higher education organizational health

Experience managing large datasets

Advanced proficiency in Excel

Experience supporting cross-functional teams

Experience with Project management

Typical Education & Experience:Level 2Bachelor's degree and typically 3 or more years’ related work experience, a Master’s degree and typically 1 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Level 3Bachelor's degree and typically 6 or more years’ related work experience, a Master’s degree and typically 4 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Relocation:Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
