M9 Solutions is seeking an
Internal Auditor (Public Sector to work on a government contract for a client located in Arlington, VA. An active Secret clearance required. Responsibilities- Public sector audit or audit readiness experience with a focus on business process IT application controls for financially relevant systems associated with internal / external audits.
- An active Secret clearance required.
- A Master's degree required.
- Significant project management experience.
- Significant experience auditing, reviewing, or working with federal business processes such as contract vendor pay, civilian payroll, and financial reporting.
- Should have experience mapping business processes, creating risk assessments, understanding IT controls, and providing training/guidance to team members on these areas.
- Strong report-writing skills to communicate findings and recommendations to clients.
- Excellent communication skills to discuss observations for reporting on internal controls.
- Ability to conduct research on regulatory guidance, current industry standards and trends, and new legislation and requirements.
- Ability to work independently with clients and on project teams.
- Ability and willingness to supervise and develop team members.
- Ability and willingness to hold difficult conversations (with team members and clients) professionally and timely.
