This role supports a State Department customer who has a large portfolio of new and legacy systems managed in a scaled Agile Framework approach. Role allows for a hybrid remote schedule and would report onsite in the Crystal City, Virginia area a few times per week depending on the team schedule and project activities. Responsibilities include, but not limited to: • Support database management activities and improve DB quality and scripts • Develop and deploy DB scripts for data quality, stability, and security systems to support maintenance activities that meet or exceed SLAs Qualifications Required Education & Experience- Bachelors and two (2) years or more experience; Masters and 0 years experience
- Demonstrated database software development experience with either Oracle PL/SQL Development, Microsoft T-SQL Development, or both.
- An understanding of distributed database architecture including the use of database links
- Experience with database tools such as SQL Developer, SQL Plus, Toad, SQL Server Management Studio
- Expertise of Oracle database performance, integrity, and security
- Experience writing packages, stored procedures, functions, and triggers
- Experience driving data quality and providing production support
- Experience defining and creating data structures for schemas including tables, views, indexes etc.
- Knowledge of best practices for database storage management, high availability, and data replication
- Secret clearance to start work with the ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance.
