.NET Developer to work in our Arlington, VA office. Job Description: ECS is seeking a .NET Developer to support our Army Chief of Staff and Army Operations Center customer at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA. This individual will be responsible for building .NET Framework Programs using multiple languages and technologies to include ASP.Net, MVC 4+, Web API, C#, Entity, Core 2+ as well as JavaScript, CSS, HTML, Bootstrap. Your duties will include hands-on writing, reviewing, and testing code for both the front-end and back-end of the application. Your primary responsibility will be to design and develop the appropriate system functionality and to coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. A commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is essential within the team concept of the development of the application. Required Skills:- 1-3 years of .NET development experience
- Understanding of the .NET Framework up to and including 4.x
- Experience with multiple programming languages such as MVC, Entity Framework, Cascading Style Sheets, AJAX, JavaScript, Bootstrap, HTML, C#
- Experience in developing, updating, and maintaining secure software code and scripts in a Visual Studio environment.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming
- Writing reusable libraries
- Familiar with software design and architectural patterns
- Knowledge of concurrency patterns
- Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server
- Experience implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
- Security + CE certification
- Active Department of Defense Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one
- .NET development experience within the Department of Defense.
- .NET development experience supporting the Army.
- BS in Computer Science or related field
- Any IAT Level III certification
- Active Department of Defense Top Secret clearance
