For Victorian based employees, the compliance date is 26 November 2021.All other global Boeing locations do not have a vaccination requirement at this time.Boeing is seeking two Senior Communications Specialists to join our Government Services communications team within Boeing Global Services in Arlington, VA or Berkeley, MO.We are a team of strategic advisers and integrators, responsible for developing and delivering outcomes-focused, purpose-driven communications that tell our defense product support story to global audiences, both internally and externally.The successful candidate will work closely with business partners, including program and Business Development leaders, to create and execute product support communications strategies focused on reaching defined audiences and driving outcomes that support business and enterprise objectives. The successful candidate also will produce compelling, integrated messaging and engaging content across platforms and channels, using measurement and analysis to evaluate success and inform future planning.Position Responsibilities:Lead the development of strategic approaches to communication plans and branding strategies that are tailored to support enterprise and/or business unit goals

Ensure strategies and tactics connect target audiences to those objectives and goals while positively impacting Boeing business results, policies, or employee and/or leadership initiatives. Identify content and appropriate production resources and techniques for Boeing internal/external communications and co-marketing activities and defines channel strategies

Manage and plan the promotion of stories to key media and evaluates the merit of media inquiries about business unit activities

Cultivate and maintain relationships with media contacts.

Anticipate, plan and manage communications plans on issues facing the business unit

Develop, seek and use advanced techniques for internal and external communications and branding

Preferred candidate will have following experience:Working as a member of a diverse and complex team, looking beyond organizational boundaries to ensure the narrative they own is having the right impact in the right spaces

Researching, designing, and implementing Communications strategies and tactical plans to support critical milestones and initiatives

Producing compelling, persuasive and effective communications materials, including but not limited to feature articles, videos, social media, news releases, internal stories, and executive talking points and speeches

Proactively identifying and engaging with external media and other storytelling venues to position key business priorities and active sales campaigns

Adopting new approaches, technologies, processes and tools to continuously evolve engagement strategies for key stakeholders, including employees and customers

Prioritizing competing projects and requests, managing multiple initiatives, and coordinating across multiple organizations, where appropriate, while maintaining focus on strategic objectives

Building relationships at all levels and advising senior leaders regarding strategy, risk, and opportunity, as well as preparing leaders for media and employee engagements

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.Employer not willing to sponsor applicants for employment visa status.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):5+ years of experience with communications planning and implementation

Experience creating and implementing strategic communications plans

Experience working across organizations and interfacing with key stakeholders, including senior leaders

Experience with media relations

Experience with producing, writing and editing multiple communications deliverables such as news releases, statements, RTQs, feature stories, speeches, videos, social media, etc.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):3+ years experience leading projects or teams

Experience demonstrating willingness to harness innovative resources to tell stories in new ways

Experience with measuring and analyzing communication strategy and tactics to optimize effectiveness

Experience with content marketing experience/marketing campaign experience

Experience developing and executing strategic marketing and communication plans based on business objectives and campaign goals with a performance based mindset
