Space Systems Engineering Consultant, LeadKey Role:Provide technical support in monitoring the execution of advanced technology development and prototype demonstration programs in the space domain. Perform independent technical assessments and feasibility analyses of new technologies and system designs. Attend, monitor, and report on testing and demonstrations. Author program status briefings and technical reports. Work independently without direction. This position is a hybrid role with a combination of working at a Booz Allen office or client site and working remotely. Basic Qualifications:- 8+ years of experience supporting the research and development of advanced Space Systems, including Satellite Communication (SATCOM), Global Positioning System (GPS), and Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT)
- Experience supporting the DoD in the research and development of new ideas, program, concepts, and technologies
- Knowledge of the technologies and operational use of military platforms and weapon systems across Air and Space domains
- Knowledge of program planning and execution
- Ability to conduct technology and military needs analysis, including assessments of scientific and technological advances by universities and industry and government entities, and recommendations for ongoing and active efforts
- Ability to analyze, interpret, and translate technical ideas and issues into easily understood, clear, and concise statements
- Top Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree
- TS/SCI clearance
- Master's degree in Physics, Chemistry, Math or Engineering
