Integration Engineer

The Integration Engineer will be responsible for spearheading the integration practice at Phone2Action. As we expand our technology suite to integrate with more systems, this person must be able to assess potential partners, prototype solutions, help architect integration products, and implement support strategies, all at a scale of millions of records a day.

You Will:

  • Own the process of vetting, designing, architecting, prototyping, and developing integrations between Phone2Action and external systems.
  • Implement monitoring and debugging strategies into the integration services that elevate our support processes.
  • Write robust technical documentation and be involved in hand-offs to other technical teams.
  • Partner with various sprint teams to make sure that solutions are being built in a way to support integrations
  • Design, build and maintain an integration framework that makes it easier to implement new integrations.

We’re Looking For:

  • Experience integrating with CRM systems, some examples being Salesforce (preferred), Blackbaud, Mailchimp, Marketo, Zendesk, HubSpot.
  • Experience working with REST, SOAP, SFTP, DB integration mechanisms.
  • First-hand experience building solutions with the following AWS (or equivalent vendor) services AWS Redshift, Aurora, SQS, S3, Kinesis, DynamoDB.
  • Knowledge of high traffic (1 million+ of records/day) queueing and data streaming strategies.
  • Experience working with integration tests, setting up CI/CD testing environments and sandboxes.
  • Knowledge of AWS well-architected framework and software engineering best practices.
  • Knowledge of database schema architecture and querying of data.
  • Experience working with two-way integration patterns such as Salesforce Change Data Capture or incoming/outgoing webhooks.
  • Ability to interact with external software teams to design the best integration with external partners.
  • Ability to write detailed technical documentation for internal and external purposes.
