Phone2Action is a venture-backed software company based in Rosslyn, VA. We build digital engagement tools that organizations use to engage people to participate in public policy campaigns. We envision a world in which anyone, from anywhere, can take action on any issue, from any device. Each year, millions of advocates use our market-leading suite of products to communicate with their elected officials and regulatory agencies. We are seeking an experienced SaaS product marketing manager to lead successful launches of new products and improvements, and manage the cross-functional product roll-out process. We want someone who’s experienced and comfortable with a fast-paced startup environment, which means you’ll be given ownership and great responsibility.

Reporting to the VP of Product, this role will focus on collaborating cross-functionally with the Marketing, Brand, Sales, and Customer Success teams, and other members of the Product team to drive strategy, awareness, and adoption of our product suite. Phone2Action is constantly looking to innovate, evolve, and improve our products. You will be one of our key product evangelists, helping to drive go-to-market plans and execution for new launches and be a key advocate for a specific product or feature-set and the associated benefits.

WHO YOU ARE:

  • Smart, passionate, product obsessed, you enjoy getting things done and using data and market research to develop go-to-market strategies and successful positioning and messaging.
  • A great communicator with superior presentation development skills (writing samples will be requested).

  • An experienced and highly organized project manager.

  • Comfortable with complex but unstructured problems, a high degree of autonomy in a fast-paced environment, self-motivated, and organized.

  • Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced, startup environment.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead launches of new products and releases of new features, manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan, and keep stakeholders updated throughout the process in a timely manner.

  • Market intelligence—be the expert on buyers, who are they, how they buy and their buying criteria.

  • Understand the competitive landscape—stay up to date on who they are and how they position.

  • Maintain a thorough understanding of our product roadmap and lead all related internal and external communications around new launches or feature updates

  • Develop compelling product positioning and messaging that differentiates our products in the market.

  • Own customer facing product release communications, product-focused webinars, and the manage other customer-facing communications, such as user advisory council and beta-testing program announcements.

  • Contribute to the production of collateral including presentations, data sheets, white papers and internal sales tools to support our demand generation, market awareness, and sales efforts.

  • Create, maintain, and drive usage and improvement of an internal library of resources with materials and information about our product suite.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum requirements:

  • 2-4+ years of relevant experience in B2B/SaaS marketing, product, or project management.

  • Great track record of working with product, marketing, and sales teams: people should want to work with you again.

Pluses:

  • Pragmatic Marketing Certification.

  • Previous experience working in digital advocacy/civic technology, CRM, digital advertising, or Social Media marketing.
