Senior Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO)to support our client.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, a related specialized area or field is required (or equivalent experience) plus a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.

The successful ISSO must have:
  • Expertise in IT government security accreditations and certification IAW DCID 6/3, ICD 503, NISPOM, NIST and other approved government IT security standards, policies and directives
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong experience with documenting test environments, requirements, results and, Plans of Actions and Milestones (POA&M) resolution
  • Hands on experience with command line UNIX/LINUX security audits
  • Experience working with DoD classified IT system security configuration and processes is highly desirable
  • Working knowledge technical knowledge of UNIX/LINUX and windows operating systems commands, utilities, and security tools
  • Familiarity with HBSS and ACAS
  • Hands on Splunk application experience highly desired
  • Experience conducting forensic analysis on audit log data for security incidents a plus

Clearance Requirements: This position requires a minimum of an active TS/SCI clearance. Must be willing and able to obtain a polygraph within a reasonable amount of time after hire, with acceptable timing determined by manager. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

A minimum of a IAT Level III (DoD 8570.1M) certification is required (e.g. CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, GCIH)
