Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a 100% REMOTE - Sr. Java Developer to join acontract job opportunity supporting a federal program based out of Arlington, VA. The Sr. Java Developer will provide development support and engineer solutions for a national security client. This role is heavily Java focused.
MUST HAVE PUBLIC TRUST - CAN HOLD UP TO A TOP SECRET CLEARANCE.Responsibilities for the Sr. Java Developer include:- Assist with development of an online Marketplace including features to deliver Cyber Security services to federal clients
- Write well structured code and applications using best practices to deliver support services
- Act as a leader and influence/mentor junior level developers
- Tackle technical tasks and problems while supporting a rapidly evolving enterprise
Required Qualifications for the Sr. Java Developer include:- 10+ years of experience with Agile and SecDevOps practices/tools
- 5+ years of experience leading solution development efforts, working with customers/clients, and building and deploying web-based applications
- Experience with AWS, Azure, Microservice Frameworks, NodeJS, Atlassian and/or Azure DevOps
- Proficient in Java Development
Preferred (but not required) Qualifications for the Sr. Java Developer include:- Bachelor's Degree
- Experience delivering marketplace solutions, technical excellence in the federal space, and support for DHS programs
- Cloud related certifications of DevOps certifications
