F-35 SCCM Engineer

The Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) F-35 IT program support contract provides knowledge-based, information assurance and cybersecurity IT services to the F-35 Lightning II Joint Program Office (JPO). Our services include program management, enterprise performance management, enterprise architecture, implementation of emerging capabilities and requirements, life cycle management, operations & maintenance, enterprise data management, service desk support and IT training.

We are currently seeking a SCCM Engineer.

This is a fulltime commitment with required on call support evenings and weekends, as needed.

Job Duties:

Using knowledge of architecture, sites, Collections Distribution points, SCCM database, Windows Server Active Directory, MDT deployment technologies, utilization of change management/change control processes and procedures; install, configure, and utilize MS SCCM and other patching tools to deploy/patch software packages to thousands of desktop workstations, laptops, and servers. Support software deployment, patch management, operation system deployment and imaging (Microsoft Windows 10) creation and sustainment. Create Advertisement/Collections/Packages/Applications within an SCCM. Deploy upgrades using Operating System Deployment (OSD) in SCCM. Provide reporting with Systems Management Center Server or SCCM and the SCCM database. Create scripts to automate installation of desktop applications using VBScript and PowerShell.

Minimum Education Required:

BS or BA degree in a Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Mathematics, Operations Research, Statistics, Engineering, or relevant IT discipline.

ALLOWABLE SUBSTUTION: Six (6) years of related experience or four (4) years of related experience with an AA/AS degree.

Minimum Experience Required:

Five (5) years' of experience with patch management disciplines and protocols to include comprehensive knowledge of specific patch management tasks.

IAT Level II baseline certification in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M, Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program, (or achieve within six months of hiring)

Security Clearance: Secret clearance based upon a SSBI or SSBI-PR completed within the past five years.

What is the mission of the program? Information Technology (IT) and Information Assurance (IA)/Cybersecurity (CS) Services to the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) Virtual Enterprise (JVE) network and standalone workstations. The IT Services shall support the mission of the F-35 JPO and enhance its effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity by providing the Government with a full range of IT and CS services. The required IT and CS services consist of program management, enterprise performance management, enterprise architecture, emerging capabilities and requirements implementation, life cycle management, operations & maintenance, enterprise data management, service desk support, IT training, and CS support. These services are critical to the successful fielding of F-35 mission capabilities.

What will a typical workday look like for the Contract Labor Associate (CLA)? Is this a team setting? Core hours are M-F 0600-1800 (to be determined by the team lead and employee). Also, on call support evenings and weekends as required.

What are the top three skillsets the candidate should have? (1) Experience with Systems Management Center Server or SCCM 2007/2012 and the SCCM database. (2) Experience with MS SCCM and other patching tools to deploy/patch software packages to thousands of desktop workstations, laptops, and servers. (3) Experience with patch management disciplines and protocols.
