- Providing analytical support for problem definitions, troubleshooting and/or resolution, planning methodologies, policies, and procedures.
- Evaluating the content of new or modified regulations, policies, or laws for projected impact on CISA financial programs.
- Assisting in developing, implementing, analyzing, and monitoring, management information systems focusing on accounting and financial management plans, policies, and programs in support of the division's goals, objectives and priorities established by statues, executive orders, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the agency, or program directors.
- Assisting supervisors in developing and coordinating management planning activities through the development and execution of briefings, presentations and conferences for high-level and executive management.
- Recommending internal financial policies, issuances, and directives.
- Drafting instructions, procedures, manuals, etc., for supervisors' approval involving proposed fiscal system(s) or correction to any deficiencies in the accounting system.
