Intermediate Software Administrator (SharePoint) to work at an Arlington, VA-based customer site.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in related field is required (or equivalent experience) plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.

The successful Software Administrator must have:
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft SharePoint 2016 design and administration
  • Proficiency with SharePoint site and library permissions
  • Background in creating sites and libraries to meet customer requirements
  • Experience using ticketing systems (e.g. Remedy, ServiceNow)
  • Ability to work independently and part of a team
  • Very good organization and communication skills
  • Background with implementing and operating cloud-based SharePoint instances is a plus
  • Familiarity with administering SharePoint back-end databases is also desirable
  • Knowledge of SharePoint STIG settings and patching is a plus
This position requires a minimum of an active

Secret clearance. Must be willing and able to obtain a polygraph within a reasonable amount of time after hire, with acceptable timing determined by manager. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

A minimum of an IAT Level II (DoD 8570.1M) certification is required: e.g. GIAC Security Essentials - GSEC; CompTIA Security+ CE; Security Certified Network Professional - SCNP; Systems Security Certified Practitioner - SSCP
