Lead Software Engineer - Remote 140k-165k This is a leading SaaS company that specializes in meetings, events, and hospitality management technology used by millions. Now they are taking the next steps in going 100% virtual and setting up to be able to reach even more users. Some of their partners are American Express, Salesforce, Eloqua/Oracle, and Citi. With their new Virtual Attendee Hub they will enable event and marketing professionals to leverage one platform consistently with full brand coverage. In this role you will be part of a brand-new team led by established management and be tasked with building out their new premier application. They are looking for strong hands on Senior, Lead, and Principal engineers to who are ready to hit the ground running. Required
- Hands-on experience designing, building, and implementing highly scalable RESTful APIs using any of the following: Java, Node.js, Python, C#
- Strong expertise in JavaScript, React/Angular/Vue
- Experience with back-end development and relational databases (Postgres, MySQL, Oracle, etc.)
- Expertise in open source technologies and NoSQL DB technology such as Couchbase, Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ, Redis, etc.
- Experience with using AWS
- Years of Experience: Lead 8+
"Nice to have"
- Prior experience with video processing, streaming and video-related cloud services such as AWS Elemental & Amazon IVS will be a big plus
- Strong knowledge of application-profiling and performance-tuning
- Strong understanding of internet security
- Strong understanding of cross-browser compatibility and limitation issues
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or related technical degree
