An environmentally friendly nonprofit is looking to add a Senior Software Engineer at their office in Arlington, VA. This nonprofit partners with Fortune 500 companies across the US to provide solutions to wasteful practices through technology. The primary responsibilities of this role will be the development of an application that will cut company waste in half, maintenance of legacy solutions, and mentorship of junior developers. This person will have the opportunity to growth their skills in C#, .NET Core, JavaScript, React, RESTful Web APIs, and Azure (or AWS -people love cloud).
Required Skills & Experience- 5+ years of experience creating scalable, component-based web applications using contemporary JavaScript Framework - ideally React (Angular 6+ or Vue.JS will also be considered)
- 5+ years of experience working with C# in production
- .NET Core
- SQL
- TypeScript or JavaScript
- Experience with MVC
- Experience with cloud technologies - preferably Azure, but AWS or GCP experience will be considered
- Excellent verbal and written communication
