Piper Companies is seeking multiple Software Engineers to join a growing team and will work directly for a national security organization located in Arlington, VA. The Software Engineers will have the opportunity to support a growing, mission critical program for an agency within the Department of Defense. These are Direct Placement needs and interview processes will move very fast!
Responsibilities of the Software Engineer include:- Mature proof-of-concept research and development technology to operational/fieldable solutions
- Use Gitlab to build test automation and leverage range deployments/solution evaluation
- Bridge the software/hardware overlap by creating API's and other interfaces for the development team
- Communicate with customers and exchange technical details
- Understand modular design methodology
- 3+ years experience working with C, C, Python, Linux, Windows, Firmware, Agile
- 3+ years experience designing/prototyping applications using Agile Development Process
- 3+ Years experience working with Operating Systems Internals
- Experience with hardware interfacing
- Top Secret Clearance (or interim TS clearance at minimum)
- Ability to work 100% on site is a must as this is a lab environment
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, or related Scientific Domain
- Exposure to reverse engineering x86/ARM binaries, embedded systems, or malware
- Experience testing, CI/CD pipelines and virtual machine test ranges
- Experience with firmware/driver development across Linux and Windows OS's
- Salary Range is dependent on experience level
