- Develop broad understanding of all system functionality to quickly understand and address a variety of tickets.
- Provide response and support for Tier III operational tickets.
- Supporting existing operations including various applications such as PeopleSoft, FMIS, Ariba, SOA, MicroStrategy and Oracle E-Business Suite (HRMS, Financials, Supply Chain and CRM).
- Troubleshoot database and application issues to provide workarounds and recommendations for long term fixes.
- Create, update, and improve documentation for standard fixes to share with lower Tiers for earlier resolution.
- Investigate, develop, and maintain monitoring capabilities to track and understand general system trends in coordination with Security Team.
- Evaluate Oracle features and Oracle related products to provide process improvement recommendations.
- Establish and maintain sound backup and recovery policies and procedures.
- Create and manage Disaster recovery infrastructure for all critical databases.

- Perform database performance monitoring.
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field or equivalent relevant experience.
- 4-6 years of experience in information technology, systems administration or other IT related field
- 1-2+ years of experience with SQL scripting and relational SQL databases such as Oracle.
- 1+ years of experience with application development with knowledge of at least 1 programming language such as Java or C#.
- 1+ years of experience with APIs or other secure data sharing mechanisms and formats such as REST, SOAP, JSON, etc.
