What you'll be doing Verizon in its focus oninnovation is looking for a dynamic, entrepreneurial, highly motivated, technical Product Manager to work in a product Engineering team for spearheading security solutions in Verizon Business Group organization. You will help in building end-to-end solutions and deliver state of the art next generation security solutions products in the cloud. Products include Cyber Risk Monitoring, DDoS, managed security services, and advanced Analytics products. You will be part of a highly collaborative fast paced Agile environment.

Looking for a strong entrepreneurial attitude who can ideate, collaborate & innovate with startups, traditional vendors as well as internal Engineering teams. This individual will be a self-starter who can lead market research, identify next gen use cases, develop solutions & requirements around security products for Enterprise, SMB & public sector. The candidate should be able to work in an agile environment across stakeholder organizations (includingProductManagement, Operations, back office systems, Customers, Sales and partner's ). The role requires cross-functional communication to executive management and decision making in order to drive Security services objectives.
  • Primarily the individual will be a Technical Product Owner and Solution Architect.
  • Develops and owns Solution architecture and Delivery Team's backlog, ensures user stories are written and acceptance criteria are met, and you'll demo the working features internally and externally.
  • Gathers requirements, designing and developing user experience workflows.
  • Collaborates with stakeholders and development teams to ensure successful implementation of new or enhanced functionality for the product.
What we're looking for You possess strategic thinking skills with a proven track record of delivering results and ability to work cross functionally across product and development organization.

You'll need to have:
  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience such asSoftware engineering or architecture.
  • Willingness to travel.
Even better if you have
  • Eight or more years of software engineering and architecture experience in designing large enterprise scale software solutions.
  • Five or more years of experience as a lead software engineer.
  • Development experience with AngularJS, Node JS, TypeScript.
  • Experience with Container based architecture & deployments using Docker.
  • Knowledge on Java, Python, SQL, REST, along with strong Web and backend Development experience.
  • Knowledge in AWS and cloud platforms is must with exposure to writing Terraform code.
  • Strong Java and/or Node based middleware development expertise along with building RESTful APIs.
  • Experience designing and building applications for extremely high data volume systems.
  • Experience implementing loosely coupled Service based Architecture concepts using SOAP and/or RESTful APIs.
  • Exposure to Hadoop, Elasticsearch, and other big data platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of UNIX, Application architecture, web infrastructure, networks, databases and security concepts.
  • Experience in networking and security.
  • Proven communications skills including technical writing and presentation.
  • Comfortable in coordinating across geographically diverse software development teams.
  • Strong Experience working with Development methodologies like Agile & Scrum, experience developing highly scalable application.
  • Experience with automation tools, continuous integration and delivery tools.

The compensation range for this position is between $97,000 and $209,000 based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
