Product Manager

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with product management, user experience, architects, customer success, management, and other stakeholders to continuously improve your and the engineering teams' understanding of customer value and user needs. Advocate for customers and users in the product direction and implementation of the backlog.
  • Drive, prioritize, and manage the backlog of epics, stories, defects, and acceptance criteria to drive team implementation and delivery of platform capabilities, features, and improvements in a continuous integration/continuous deployment model. Deliver frequent, incremental, valuable improvements to the platform.
  • Instrument the platform and features with analytics. Pay attention to adoption and usage of specific features. Proactively identify gaps and improvement needs that users may not even recognize for themselves. Measure and build trust, loyalty, preference, and satisfaction with customers and users.
  • Partner with engineering and operations to continuously improve our processes, delivery effectiveness and maximize our capacity.
  • Evolve and sustain a rigorous definition of "done' that includes deployment and operational concerns and ensure that delivered features meet that definition.
  • Communicate changes and improvements to the platform, usage and operational analytics, gaps, and escalations, etc. to internal stakeholders to drive strategic, directional, and operational decisions.

Essential skills and Experience:
  • 5+ years of Lean/Agile product owner experience
  • Proven track record of delivering value from backlogs that include end-user functionality, architectural evolution, and operational improvements.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile project management tools for managing backlogs, releases, and reporting.
  • Strong leadership, critical thinking and analysis, and exceptional communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate across all levels of the organization. Proven ability to motivate in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Must be able to work in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment, and interact with partners and customers directly, with a passion to solve for the customer.
  • Passion for building exceptional, market leading products.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, User Experience or equivalent
