A client centric solutions company in Northern Virginia leverages physical and cyber sensors to create a holistic view of a city or commercial enterprise to allow end users to effectively detect, identify, and respond to security and public safety incidents. They are looking for a motivated .NET Software Developer to contribute to the design & development using the latest technologies including .NET Core, C#, React and SQL. Knowledge of IP-based digital video cameras and access control technologies would be desirable.
Required Skills & Experience- Bachelor's degree in computer science or relevant experience.
- 5 years of Microsoft .NET development experience.
- 2+ years with React/JavaScript Experience
- Experience with .NET Core
- Experience with TDD and/or unit testing.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server
- Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
- Experience with API development using the RESTful design pattern
- Experience with Containerized DevOps
- Must be located in the US to be considered for this role.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Experience and knowledge of the physical security information management industry is helpful
- Experience working at a government facility and interacting with customers
- Experience with systems/product integration.
