Local team of award-winning home builders and designers of creative, practical, and enduring spaces at Shelter Alternatives, Inc. seeks a residential designer for full time employment from downtown Blacksburg. Ideal candidates have hands-on experience in residential construction, working knowledge of current building science, and skills using CAD programs for custom residential projects (Autodesk Revit Architecture preferred, Microsoft Office required.) Successful applicants will show driven resourcefulness to follow through on detailed tasks, cooperative communication skills, creativity, adaptability, and thorough project management skills with an appreciation for sustainability.
