ASSISTANT EXECUTIVE: In Addition to all standard room attendant duties, the assistant will relieve in the absence of Executive Housekeeper. Performs the duties of a room attendant when Executive Housekeeper is present. The Assistant Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining high levels of guest service and cleanliness in the hotel. He or she must have a working knowledge of all functions carried out in housekeeping operations, including but not limited to guestroom and public area cleanliness, laundry functions and grounds keeping. Will perform duties as an inspector. Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include evenings, weekends and holidays. Shifts may finish as late as 8pm. Weekends and holidays are mandatory. Prior experience in housekeeping as inspector or an associate is required.
Requires walking and standing for entire shift. Requires ability to perform duties which involve lifting, bending, stretching, and reaching. May be required to lift 35-50 lbs. Ability to follow schedule keeping in mind that the hotel is open 24 hours a day 365 days a year. Therefore, you will be required to work holidays, weekdays, weekends and different times during a 24 hour day. Shifts may finish as late as 8pm. Weekends and holidays are mandatory. Ability to perform physical labor.
