Mobile Home Community Property Manager

We are seeking an experienced manager for our Meadowbrook Community. If you meet the minimum requirements and have a flexible, can-do attitude, you are encouraged to apply.

The Manager is ultimately responsible for every aspect of the property. This includes but is not limited to maintenance, safety, appearance, occupancy, retention, upholding lease policies, and selling & marketing mobile homes. You will be the face of our Community and the liaison between the tenants and owners.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:

A high school diploma or equivalent and professional knowledge of business discipline are required.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

Property Management experience required (Sales/Leasing experience preferred)

Ability to operate iPhone, iPad, email, computer and software

Valid Driver's License and Transportation

Ability to pass a Criminal Background Check

Ability to pass a Drug Screen

Must possess professional verbal and written communication skills

Must possess strong organizational and time-management skills.

Ability to be at work on a regular and consistent basis.

Ability to work weekends and non-traditional holidays.

Must be reachable at all times via phone except during approved time off.

Must be available to work on-call or when needed due to emergency tenant issues.

This position requires excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to others.

You must be self-motivated, be prepared to stay until the job is completed, and be ready to resolve issues at a moment's notice or return to the property, if necessary.

JOB DUTIES:

Answer phone calls from tenants and prospective tenants and assist them with all matters.

Coordinate and supervise all on-site work and maintenance.

Perform regular inspections of park owned homes and lots within the community to ensure visual appeal and compliance with park rules.

Document maintenance items and all communications with tenants and prospective tenants in computer system.

Monitor community for potential issues, problems and/or violations.

Distribute notices and printed communications to tenants.

Follow up on leads for lot leasing/home sales.

Assist with review of all prospective tenant applications and renewal leases.

Assist with vendor selection and vendor relations, to ensure quality performance.

Communicate with supervisor and/or property owners regarding the overall function of the property.

Ensure excellent customer service to prospective and current tenants and promote a quality living experience for all tenants.

Inspect park grounds and common areas to ensure safety and cleanliness, and alert owners of items that need to be repaired.

Responsible for reporting park issues, including property loss claims timely and accurately.

Make recommendations to management for improving the property

Treat all tenants and vendors with professionalism.

Adhere to and implement all company policies and park rules and regulations.

Other duties as assigned.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to handle light/general maintenance tasks.

Ability to multi-task, make quick and effective decisions, and analyze and resolve problems.

Ability to cope with and defuse situations involving angry or difficult people.

Ability to set and meet goals and to consistently meet deadlines.

Ability to maintain flexibility and professionalism in a variety of situations.

Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Ability to perform basic to intermediate mathematical functions.

Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English.

Some travel may be required.

Knowledge of AppFolio software is helpful but not required.
