Laboratory Manager/Assistant to PI
-Will manage day to day laboratory operations, data, and QA/QC, and work closely with P.I. in planning and implementing research and preparing manuscripts for publication in a laboratory performing quantitative analysis of food components in conjuction with USDA ARS and other sponsors.
-Initially an emergency hire (wage) with potential for a full time salaried research faculty position with long term potential
- M.S. required (Ph.D. preferred).
-Experience in quantitative analysis of components in biological or environmental samples, preferably nutrients in foods
-Requires excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
-Must be U.S. citizen or have current legal permit to work in the U.S.
-Wage/salary up to $28/hour, depending on qualifications
