Are you ready to take control of your future? Do you have at least 10 years professional automobile repair experience? Are you well organized? Are you a self starter that works well alone? Are you willing to hustle to make a very good paycheck? Are you tired of coming home dirty, working in a hot repair shop in the summer and a cold shop in the winter? Are you willing to travel some as needed (home every night). No weekend or holiday work. ASE or factory certification a plus but not required. If this describes you please give me a call. I am looking for a seasoned technician to perform vehicle inspections to determine the cause of failure and extent of damage for aftermarket warranty companies. You will need reliable transportation, less than $50 worth of tools, a smart phone, a good internet connection and either a laptop or tablet would be helpful. Some travel would be required at times to places like Beckley WV, Roanoke, Danville and perhaps other areas. You will be paid based on the location of the inspection. All inspections must be performed within 24-48 hours not counting Saturday and Sunday. I have contracts with the biggest companies and they provide me with plenty of work. You can realistically expect to earn between $800.00 and $1600.00 per week or even more. It is not uncommon for a good inspector that will do day travel to make over $2000.00 in some weeks and very seldom less than $1000.00 per week. You will be trained hands on in the field performing actual inspections with me. I can put you in contact with another inspector that works for me so that he can tell you the good, the bad, and the ugly of this position.
