Job Summary/Company:

A Sparks Group Partner is seeking a Lead Collaboration Engineer to join their team. The Engineer with help stabilize their current UC deployment and assist with installing Cisco Cube Routers. This is a remote position; selected candidate must be fully vaccinated. If you are interested in learning more about the opportunity, please submit your resume today.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, develop, and maintain telecommunications systems with a focus on the Cisco UC suite including UCM Cloud
  • Support phased migration from legacy Siemens to Cisco UC:
    • Develop/design standards and best practices to facilitate the integration
    • Dial plan configuration, outbound calling, inbound calling, SIP connectivity
    • Database export from legacy Siemens PBX; facilitate feature and station migration to new environment
  • Troubleshoot connectivity and other networking issues as related to collaboration services

Qualifications/Background Profile:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in relevant field preferred OR equivalent relevant IT experience
  • 10 years of experience with Cisco's UC portfolio
  • VoIP implementation experience with enterprise clients in various industries (health care, private & public sector) both domestically and internationally
  • Strong routing and switching skillset; comfortable in OSPF and EIGRP Enterprise networks
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Work Status: due to government requirement, only US Citizens will be considered for this role
  • Certifications: CCNP - Collaboration or higher
